Key duties include liaising with tax auditors, managing Coretax submissions (PPh 21, PPN, import taxes, and PPh Article 4(2)), and performing tax mapping and reconciliation.
We are seeking a Tax Officer with extensive experience in corporate taxation and compliance, particularly in the manufacturing industry. This role will be responsible for handling end-to-end tax activities, including reporting, tax audits, import tax management, and special tax articles, while ensuring compliance and efficiency in all tax operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison when dealing with tax auditors and during tax audits, including preparing explanations and documentation.
Manage and ensure accurate and timely tax reporting via Coretax, including but not limited to: PPh 21 Unified Income Tax (PPh Unifikasi) VAT (PPN) Import Taxes (Pajak Impor) Final Income Tax (PPh Article 4 Paragraph 2) Other applicable taxes as per regulations.
Prepare and perform Tax Mapping to ensure proper tax classification in all transactions.
Conduct regular Tax Review to identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization.
Prepare and review tax reconciliation (equalization) between financial statements and tax returns.
Identify and assess potential tax exposures and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure data and documents are complete and compliant.
Support the preparation and review of financial statements from a tax perspective.
Stay updated with the latest tax regulations and ensure proper implementation in company SOPs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in taxation, with direct and proven experience dealing with tax auditors and handling tax audits.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (UU HPP, Coretax system, and latest tax updates).
Proficient in Coretax DJP tax submission.
Experienced in tax equalization, tax mapping, tax review, import tax, and PPh Article 4 Paragraph 2.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in manufacturing industry.
Required: Hold USKP A, C, D & C or Brevet A, B, and C certification.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
