Job summary

PT Softex Indonesia, located in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a Tax Specialist to manage Monthly Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance and related activities. Responsibilities include issuing WHT certificates via Coretax and verifying transactions against documents.

The role requires experience with Coretax Indonesia, strong analytical skills, Brevet A&B certification, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to meet stringent deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Withholding Tax (WHT) Compliance
• Issue WHT certificates through Coretax
• Verify withholding tax transactions against supporting documents
• Prepare Coretax billing code and internal payment proposals for WHT payments
• Submit monthly WHT returns
• Distribute WHT certificates to relevant parties
• Prepare WHT reconciliations, including BlackLine reconciliations
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve outstanding reconciling items
• Preparation of nominative list for entertainment expenses
• Other support activities (tax audit, statutory audit, SoX compliance, other ad-hoc as necessary)

Job Desctiption:
Motnhly Withholding Tax (WHT) Compliance

Issue WHT certificates through Coretax

Verify withholding tax transactions against supporting documents

Prepare Coretax billing code and internal payment proposals for WHT payments

Submit monthly WHT returns

Distribute WHT certificates to relevant parties

Prepare WHT reconciliations, including BlackLine reconciliations

Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve outstanding reconciling items

Preparation of nominative list for entertainment expenses

Other support activities (tax audit, statutory audit, SoX compliance, other ad-hoc as necessary)

Requirements:

Degree in Finance/Accounting from reputable university

Ability to handle monthly tax return filing, tax reconciliations, tax administration, tax audit/objection/appeal

Practical experience with Coretax Indonesia tax application

MS Office and Accounting Software literature

Has deep knowledge in accounting and tax regulation

Brevet A&B certified

Excellent analytical skills, logical thinker and problem solving
