Job summary

TACO Group in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a Tax & Accounting Specialist to handle monthly tax returns (Income Tax, VAT) and reporting via Coretax. You will prepare, file, and review SPTs and tax invoices, and support audits.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation, with at least 1 year of tax experience, proficiency in Excel, and readiness to base in Batam. Brevet A/B preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation.
• Minimum 1 year of proven working experience in a Tax & Accounting role.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax administration and compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong grasp of Excel formulas.
• Brevet A and B certifications is highly preferred.
• Detail-oriented, honest, and proactive with strong organizational skills.
• Willing to be based in Batam.

Responsibilities

• Tax Calculation: Prepare monthly tax returns for Income Tax and VAT.
• Filing & Payment: Ensure timely reporting of Monthly and Annual Tax Returns via Coretax.
• Tax Invoice Management: Issue, review, and manage Output Tax Invoices and reconciliations.
• Tax Reconciliation: Reconcile GL with tax reports.
• Document Administration: Organize tax documents including withholding tax slips and payment slips.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on Indonesian tax regulations and Coretax.
• Tax Audit & Correspondence: Assist in data and documentation for audits and tax examinations.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Tax Calculation: Calculate and prepare monthly tax returns for Income Tax (PPh Article 21/26, 23/26, 4(2), 22) and Value Added Tax (VAT / PPN).
• Filing & Payment: Ensure the accurate and timely payment and reporting of Monthly and Annual Corporate Tax Returns (SPT) via the Coretax system.
• Tax Invoice Management: Issue, review, and manage Output Tax Invoices (Faktur Pajak Keluaran) and perform Input VAT reconciliations.
• Tax Reconciliation: Conduct regular fiscal reconciliations between the General Ledger (GL) and tax reports.
• Document Administration: Systematically organize and maintain all tax documentation, including withholding tax slips (Bukti Potong) and tax payment slips (SSP).
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on the latest Indonesian tax regulations, particularly the implementation of the Coretax System, and advise on their potential impact on the company.
• Tax Audit & Correspondence: Assist in preparing necessary data and documentation for internal audits, external audits, and tax examinations by the Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP).
