Job summary

EIGER in Bandung, Indonesia is seeking a WMS systems analyst to bridge business requirements and technology, analyze warehouse processes, and support configuration and integration of Blue Yonder WMS across inbound, outbound, inventory, and yard management.

You will design integrations with SAP, ERP/OMS, and e-commerce platforms, translate requirements into BRD/FSD, lead SIT/UAT, data migration, and provide training and documentation to end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, SCM, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as System Analyst or WMS consultant.
• Strong WMS experience, preferably Blue Yonder, with ERP/OMS integration.
• Proficient SQL for data querying and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end warehouse processes and identify gaps between requirements and WMS capabilities.
• Configure WMS parameters and design data integrations with SAP and OMS.
• Develop test scenarios, coordinate SIT/UAT, and support data migration and go-live.

Job description

you will bridge business requirements and technology by analyzing warehouse processes, translating operational needs into system solutions, supporting WMS configuration and integration, and ensuring system stability throughout implementation and day-to-day operations. The role will work closely with business users, ICT teams, developers, and external partners to deliver reliable and scalable WMS solutions across warehouse and supply chain operations.

1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Analyze end-to-end warehouse operational processes, including Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, Picking, Putaway, Cycle Counting, and Yard Management.
• Identify gaps between business and operational requirements and the standard capabilities of the WMS.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional system solutions.
• Prepare system requirement and functional specification documents, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Work closely with business stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with operational objectives.

2. System Design & Configuration

• Configure standard WMS parameters based on business requirements, including allocation rules, wave processing, picking strategies, and putaway strategies.
• Design data integration between the WMS and surrounding systems such as SAP, Order Management Systems, Omnichannel platforms, and e-commerce platforms.
• Define integration requirements using technologies such as APIs, XML, JSON, flat files, and EDI.
• Design appropriate system customizations when standard WMS functionality cannot fully support business requirements, while considering system stability, scalability, and maintainability.

3. Testing & Implementation

• Develop test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinate issue identification, analysis, resolution, and retesting throughout the testing cycle.
• Support data migration, including master data and initial inventory migration.
• Support system cutover activities and ensure operational readiness before go-live.
• Provide hypercare support during the initial post-go-live period.

4. Maintenance & Application Support

• Analyze and resolve technical and operational issues related to Blue Yonder WMS.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with relevant technical teams or vendors.
• Develop custom reports and labels using SQL queries where required.
• Support system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Provide training and prepare User Manuals for key users and operational teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Functional Consultant, WMS Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong experience working with Warehouse Management Systems, particularly in environments integrated with automation or robotic systems. (Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS is highly preferred.)
• Proficient in SQL for data querying, troubleshooting, validation, and report development.
• Experience in at least one full WMS implementation or rollout lifecycle, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-go-live support.
• Experience in system integration between WMS and surrounding applications such as ERP, OMS, POS, e-commerce, and omnichannel platforms is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, developers, vendors, and end users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of system and operational issues.
• Able to translate complex business requirements into practical and sustainable system solutions.
