Job summary

PT Starway Engineering Indonesia is urgently seeking an experienced Survey QC Inspector to conduct quality control inspection and verification of surveying activities on the Papua Site. You will verify coordinates, elevations, benchmarks and alignment, inspect setting-out and associated surveys, and review survey reports and as-built data.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field with 5+ years in surveying and QC inspection; Oil & Gas/EPC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of surveying and QC inspection experience.
• Oil & Gas / EPC project experience preferred.
• Proficient with survey instruments and data processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC inspection and verification of surveying activities.

• Inspect setting-out, excavation, foundation and structural survey activities.
• Verify calibration and validity of survey instruments.
• Review survey reports, check sheets and as-built survey data.
• Conduct independent survey checks.

• Raise and follow up RFI related to survey works.
• Identify and follow up surveying non-conformities.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC and Survey teams.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in surveying and QC inspection
• Oil & Gas / EPC project experience is preferred
• Proficient in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS
• Strong understanding of coordinates, elevations, benchmarks, alignment and setting-out
• Familiar with construction surveying and as-built survey
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures, ITP, RFI and inspection records
• Able to review survey data, drawings and specifications
• Familiar with AutoCAD and survey data processing software
• Valid Surveyor / Survey QC professional certification
