Job summary

PT. Yanfeng Automotive Interior Systems Indonesia seeks an experienced QA/QC professional to lead supplier quality and internal quality activities across automotive parts provisioning.

The role emphasizes PPAP, audits, and IATF 16949 compliance to ensure batch readiness and optimal supplier performance. You will drive root-cause investigations, manage NC issues, and develop 8D and related quality reports while collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, standards, and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in QA/QC, automotive spare parts preferred.
• Familiar with IATF 16949 and core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA).
• Able to lead NC product investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Able to generate 8D and related quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPAP and supplier audits before batch manufacture.
• Conduct supplier capacity assessments.
• Control suppliers and analyze quality performance.
• Support other departments on raw material QC and delivery rate.
• Participate in annual supplier quality targets and plans.
• Promote supplier quality management and improve standards/processes.
• Confirm supplier responsibility for quality-related compensation.
• Perform quality claims handling.

Job description

Lead PPAP audits and supplier audits before batch manufacture

Conduct production capacity assessments for supplier

Control suppliers and analyze supplier quality performance

Support other departments on quality control points for raw materials and timely delivery rate

Participate in setting up annual supplier overall quality targets and promotion plans

Promote suppliers' quality management and participate in establishing and improving management standards, processes, and methods

Confirm supplier responsibility for compensation due to quality issues

Perform quality claims

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC, especially in automotive spare parts industry

Familiar with IATF 16949 requirements and its core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA)

Able to manage NC product and lead supplier root cause investigation

Able to analyze and establish Quality Reports (8D report, why-why analysis, etc.)

Strong communication and relationship building abilities

High attention to detail with a process and solution-oriented mindset
