Job summary

PT Sunstar Engineering Indonesia, a PMA (Japanese) company located in MM2100 Industrial area Cibitung, Bekasi, West Java, is seeking an experienced QA Assistant Manager for its automotive parts division. The role requires strong leadership, extensive QA/QC knowledge, and fluency in English to liaise with multinational teams.

The candidate will lead IQC/IPQC/Final Inspection activities, implement QA processes, and drive continual improvement while handling customer complaints and root-cause

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Asst Manager in the Automotive industry.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in multinational companies is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of QA/QC in Automotive industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Lead and manage overall Quality Control activities, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Final Inspection, and Quality Assurance processes.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA systems and procedures.
• Handle customer complaints effectively, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality processes.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
• Quality planning activities and implementation of Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
