Supervisory Application Development Specialist

Under the direction of the Customer Engagement Diplomatic Technology Officer (DTO), manages and provides technical leadership for the Application Development team within Customer Engagement (CE). Oversee sophisticated applications development and support operations using approved Cloud platforms with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Microsoft Azure, SQL Online, Dataverse, ServiceNow Platform, and other M365 products (SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Power AI). Manages the migration of legacy locally developed applications to approved cloud platforms, automation in the business process using AI (Artificial Intelligence), and the development of new cloud-based applications. Collaborates with and coordinates work with the ADG (Application Development Group) Team located in Frankfurt to develop and implement worldwide applications such as Go-MBC, Atlas Directory, and Atlas Workflows. Supervises two application developers (App Dev Spec.) and ensures SharePoint online and Dataverse/SQL databases support specific mission office requirements to organize, analyze, and interpret data. Provides strategic direction for database design and maintains associated front-end applications that meet reporting and interface needs based upon target user audiences. Serves as the mission's senior technical authority on application development and business process analysis.
