Job summary

PT Jones and Vining Indonesia is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead PU production QC at our Indonesia facility. You will oversee QC activities across the PU Auto Pouring process and ensure materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet strict quality standards.

You will supervise QC Inspectors, coordinate with Production and Engineering teams, and perform Root Cause Analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within PU manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of experience as a QC Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Direct experience with PU Auto Pouring, PU Foam, PU Injection, or related PU manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of the PU production process including material prep, mixing, pouring/injection, curing and final inspection.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control all QC activities throughout the PU Auto Pouring production process.
• Ensure incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products meet established quality standards.
• Monitor critical quality parameters such as density, hardness, dimensions, appearance, weight, and product defects.
• Identify, analyze, and investigate quality issues and non-conforming products.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage, train, and evaluate QC Inspectors and QC Operators.
• Prepare and review QC inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Monitor defect trends and implement improvement actions to reduce rejection and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, SOPs, 5S/5R, and K3 requirements.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Minimum D3/S1 in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering, or other related fields.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within Polyurethane (PU) Manufacturing.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a QC Supervisor or Team Leader.

Must have direct experience with PU Auto Pouring, PU Foam, Polyurethane Injection, or related PU manufacturing processes.

Strong understanding of the Polyurethane production process, including material preparation, mixing, pouring/injection, curing, and final inspection.

Familiar with PU material characteristics and quality parameters.

Able to perform and evaluate quality inspections based on product specifications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Familiar with Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, Preventive Action, 5S/5R, K3, and Continuous Improvement.
