Job summary

PT. United Family Food (Unifam) seeks a Lead Maintenance Engineer in Indonesia to lead/conduct maintenance projects for confectionery equipment.

You will manage a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring safe daily operations and optimal equipment performance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant project/maintenance experience, with strong PLC/Servo and Mechatronics knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, maintenance or equipment design.
• Strong knowledge of confectionery production machines and PEMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance projects and ensure confectionery equipment is installed and functioning.
• Oversee daily operations and safety of the equipment team (mechanics, technicians).
• Develop maintenance plans, cost estimates, and technical specs for upgrades.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and manage budget and resources.
• Handle complex troubleshooting for Automation and Mechatronics systems (PLC, Servo).

Job description

• Leadmaintenance projects and ensure machinery (specifically confectioneryequipment) is installed and functioning correctly.
• Supervisethe daily operations and safety of the equipment team (mechanics,technicians) and coordinate schedules with Production.
• Developmaintenance plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications forequipment modifications or upgrades.
• Evaluatesubcontractor performance, enforce quality/safety procedures, and managebudget and resource allocation.
• Handlecomplex troubleshooting for Automation and Mechatronics systems (PLC,Servo), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• MinimumBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum3 years of relevant experience in project management, maintenance, orequipment design.
• Strongknowledge of confectionery production machines and familiarity withProject Equipment Management Systems (PEMS).
• Advancedknowledge of Maintenance Management Systems, TPM, andpreventive/predictive maintenance principles.
• Solidunderstanding of Electrical Systems, PLC, Servo, and Mechatronics.
• Provenleadership skills, strong report writing, and excellent stakeholdercoordination skills.
