Job summary

PT. United Family Food (Unifam) seeks a skilled maintenance professional to supervise daily maintenance on confectionery production lines and lead a floor-based team.

You will handle preventive/corrective maintenance, machine adjustments, and setup tasks to ensure efficient operation. The role requires 2–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience, strong knowledge of confectionery machines, and proficiency in maintenance management systems and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Diploma with strong relevant experience may be considered).
• 2–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience; shift leader or senior technician a plus.
• Strong knowledge of confectionery production machines (Dissolver, Cooker, Stamping, Cooling Conveyor, Wrapper, Carton Sealer, Printer, etc.).
• Proficient in Maintenance Management Systems and Maintenance Scheduling.
• Solid understanding of Electrical Systems, PLC, Servo, and Mechatronics.
• Skilled in Troubleshooting, Automation, and Problem Solving.
• Good leadership skills; able to manage and direct a team during shifts.
• Ability to use CAD Drawing software, Microsoft Office, and Data Analysis tools.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring machines run efficiently.
• Lead and guide the maintenance team on the floor for troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency breakdowns.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to the schedule.
• Perform and oversee machine adjustments, setups, and minor program changes as needed.
• Support machine commissioning, new equipment setup, and maintenance data preparation.
• Coordinate with Production supervisors to minimize downtime and resolve equipment issues quickly.
• Ensure shift reports, maintenance logs, and handover documentation are completed accurately.
• Enforce safety procedures (K3) and compliance with SOPs within the shift team.
• Propose spare part needs, report major issues, and escalate unresolved problems to the Supervisor.
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor performance and providing technical feedback to the Supervisor.
