• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable or accounts management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; SAP or similar platforms advantageous.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, reconciliation and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and standards relevant to accounts payable operations.
• Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements.

About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor Finance Account Payable - Cost Control to join our Finance team in Surabaya, Jawa Timur. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage accounts payable operations whilst maintaining strict cost controls. In this supervisory role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of all payable transactions, directly contributing to the financial health and operational success of PT Kamadjaja Logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all vendor invoices and payments


• Monitor and control expenditure to identify cost‑saving opportunities and variance analysis against budgets


• Prepare and reconcile accounts payable statements, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger


• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in the payment cycle


• Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment disputes or discrepancies in a professional manner


• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and relevant regulations in all payable transactions


• Conduct regular audits of accounts payable records to maintain data integrity and prevent fraud


• Train, mentor and evaluate accounts payable staff, providing coaching and performance feedback


• Generate financial reports and cost analysis to support management decision‑making


• Liaise with other departments including procurement, operations and management to ensure smooth coordination of financial activities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent professional qualification


• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable or accounts management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and standards relevant to accounts payable operations


• Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms is advantageous


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly for data analysis, reconciliation and reporting


• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail


• Strong understanding of cost control methodologies and cost analysis techniques


• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in team supervision, training and performance management


• Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal


• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks


• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements is preferred


• Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous
