Job summary

Confidential (International Engineering & Consulting Firm) seeks a Senior Electrical Manager to provide technical leadership for high and low voltage electrical systems across the Data Center programme in Indonesia. You will oversee electrical design, contractor supervision, QA, and commissioning coordination for power distribution, HV/LV switchgear, generators, UPS, and related infrastructure.

Requirements include 10+ years in electrical engineering (5+ in senior roles), data center experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in a senior technical role on large-scale construction projects.
• Deep technical expertise in HV/LV power systems, UPS, generators, transformers and switchgear.
• Experience on Data Center or mission-critical facility electrical systems preferred.
• Familiarity with PLN connection requirements, PUIL 2011, and IEC electrical standards.
• Proficient in reviewing single-line diagrams, protection coordination studies, and earthing designs.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineer preferred.
• Strong supervisory and team leadership skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience with FAT of HV/LV equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical oversight of all electrical engineering works across DC1, DC2, and HV Substation.
• Review contractor electrical design submissions, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise Electrical Supervisors and ensure installation quality per specs.
• Lead coordination of HV and LV electrical interfaces including PLN supply, transformers, switchgear, and generators.
• Review and approve electrical ITPs, method statements, and commissioning test procedures.
• Interface with PLN and Indonesian authority requirements for grid connection and HV system approvals.
• Coordinate electrical design RFIs and technical queries from contractors.
• Monitor electrical works progress against the master programme schedule.
• Support commissioning and integrated system testing of all electrical systems.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Indonesian standards (PUIL) and IEC.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Manager provides technical leadership for all high and low voltage electrical systems across the Data Center programme in Indonesia. This role is responsible for the technical oversight of electrical design, contractor supervision, quality assurance, and commissioning coordination for all power distribution, HV/LV switchgear, generators, UPS, and associated electrical infrastructure.
