Job summary

Techconnect.id membuka posisi Supervisor Deforestation Mitigation untuk mengelola pemantauan stok karbon hutan, penerapan mitigasi deforestasi, dan kepatuhan metodologi pengukuran karbon sesuai standar internasional.

Posisi ini menuntut pengalaman 3–5 tahun di hutan/konservasi atau analisis citra GIS, dengan keahlian dalam akuntansi karbon, perhitungan emisi, dan dokumentasi LCAM/DRAM. Pengalaman dengan standar SRN, VERRA, NDC dianggap plus.

Qualifications

• Pengalaman 3–5 tahun di pengelolaan hutan, konservasi, atau analisis citra GIS.
• Pengalaman proyek hutan terkait karbon seperti REDD+, SRN, dan VCS diutamakan.
• Memiliki keahlian akuntansi karbon, inventaris, pemantauan ekosistem, perhitungan emisi.

Responsibilities

• Mengawasi pemantauan, pengelolaan, dan pelaporan stok karbon hutan.
• Memastikan pelaksanaan mitigasi deforestasi sesuai program karbon hutan.
• Memastikan metodologi pengukuran karbon memenuhi standar nasional dan internasional.
• Mengawasi aktivitas lapangan, termasuk inventaris karbon dan pemantauan ekosistem.
• Menyiapkan laporan karbon untuk verifikasi dan sertifikasi.
• Menganalisis kelayakan proyek karbon, termasuk perhitungan kredit dan proyeksi keuntungan.
• Melakukan analisis risiko dan bisnis untuk proyek karbon dan rekomendasi mitigasi.
• Memantau pembuatan LCAM dan DRAM.
• Memimpin pembuatan proyek emisi dan perhitungan emisi menggunakan metodologi allometris berdasarkan SRN, VERRA, NDC, atau regulasi internasional lain.

Deskripsi Pekerjaan - Supervisor Deforestation Mitigation

Description

• Oversee monitoring, management, and reporting of forest carbon stock.
• Ensure the implementation of deforestation mitigation strategies in support of forest carbon programs.
• Ensure carbon measurement methodologies meet national and international standards.
• Supervise field activities, including carbon inventory and ecosystem monitoring.
• Prepare carbon reports required for verification and certification.
• Analyze the feasibility of carbon projects, including credit calculations and profit projections.
• Conduct risk and business analysis for carbon projects and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Monitor and supervise the creation of LCAM (Mitigation Action Achievement Reports) and DRAM (Mitigation Action Plan Documents).
• Lead emission project creation and perform emission calculations using agreed allometric methods based on SRN, VERRA, NDC, or other international regulations.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in forest management, conservation, or GIS and satellite image analysis of land cover changes
• Preferably with experience in carbon-related forest projects such as REDD+, SRN, and VERRA Verified Carbon Standard (VCS)
• Possess technical skills in carbon accounting and inventory, ecosystem monitoring, carbon project analysis (including carbon credits and profit projection), emission calculation using allometric methods, with familiarity in LCAM and DRAM documentation, and a strong understanding of both national and international carbon regulations.
