Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forestry Certification Specialist to join our team at PT Korintiga Hutani in Central Kalimantan . As a Forestry Certification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s certification compliance and processing certification applications within the forestry industry environment .

Key Responsibilities

FSC Remedy Framework (Priority)

• Preparation and long-term implementation of the FSC Remedy Framework .

FSC FM & CoC

• Lead the preparation and improvement processes for FSC Forest Management (FM) and Chain of Custody (CoC) certifications .

PEFC & Others

• Manage PEFC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification and stay updated on other relevant forestry certification developments .

Inter-Departmental Coordination

• Coordinate certification requirements with operational and management teams .

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

• Level: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or higher .
• Major: Forestry, Environmental Science, or other environment-related fields .

Experience & Certification

• Proven experience in managing international forestry certifications such as FSC, PEFC, or similar certifications .
• Added Value: Candidates with a background as a former FSC Auditor or equivalent audit experience will be prioritized .

Language Proficiency

• English: Intermediate to advanced level (able to write, speak, and understand well) .
• Able to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and participate in technical discussions in English (e.g., FSC International, consulting firms, and other related parties).

Technical & Soft Skills

• Computer: Excellent command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) .
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration and coordination .
