Job summary

CIMIC Group Indonesia seeks a seasoned Civil/Construction professional to organize and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring targets are met while coordinating with design and project teams.

You will lead subordinates, drive continuous improvement, ensure availability of competent resources, and liaise with authorities to maintain project timelines and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in civil construction.
• Minimum 8+ years of civil/construction experience.
• Data center project experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of civil software.
• Willing to be placed on project site and follow company rules.

Responsibilities

• To organize the section(s) of construction works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
• To organize and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in construction.
• To develop continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
• To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform construction activities.
• To interact with design team to ensure timely delivery of design details in order to ensure that provision of design information does not delay construction.
• To interact with project engineer on project progress and to provide development support in order to ensure the project and company objectives are being achieved.
• To liaise with third party (including local authorities) or client in order to manage relationships, concerns and issues.
• To interact with survey department to carry out survey ahead of construction in order to allow construction to proceed as scheduled.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
• To consolidate reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

Job description

• Diploma or tertiary in civil construction is preferred
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of building and civil construction & safety legal requirements
• 8++years experience in civil/construction
• Data Center experience would be an advantage
• Basic skills on MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative and numeric skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Civil/Construction software/hardware skills
• Basic skills on project management software
• Intermediate knowledge of civil operation regulatory requirement
