Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced civil/construction professional to coordinate MEP works and manage technical resources on site. You will ensure targets are met by effectively coordinating engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes developing subordinates, implementing continuous improvement, maintaining a safe workplace, and delivering accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil/structural engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge of practical MEP installation & safety legal requirements
• 7 years' experience in civil/construction
• Experience managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP works to achieve targets.
• Coordinate and develop subordinates to optimize workable time in MEP installation.

Job description

Key Accountabilities:

1. To coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
2. To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
3. To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
4. To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.
5. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
6. To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
7. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization.

Requirements:

• Diploma in civil /structural engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation & safety legal requirements
• 7 years' experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
