As Strategy & Planning Assistant Manager in the ID Omnicommerce team, you will drive financial governance, P&L management, forecasting, and strategic growth for the business unit.

You will report to the Strategy & Planning Omnicommerce Manager and be based onsite in Grab's Jakarta office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the startup or technology industry.
• Strong P&L management and financial modeling experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong presentation and storytelling with management-ready decks.
• SQL proficiency is required for data analysis and decision-making.

Get to Know the Role

As the Strategy & Planning Assistant Manager within the ID Omnicommerce team, you will drive overall financial governance, P&L management, forecasting, and strategic growth for the business unit. In this position, you will also oversee strategic projects and play a key role in coordination with your team both within and outside Omnicommerce to ensure seamless implementation of growth initiatives. This role demands a strong balance of financial acumen, operational planning, and commercial strategy to scale high-value portfolios while driving path-to-profitability initiatives. You will report to the Strategy & Planning Omnicommerce, Manager and be based onsite in Grab's Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Lead Budget Planning & Forecasting: execute budgeting and weekly forecasts, cascade targets into segment Sales and territory budgets, and drive actions to stay on target.
• Own Strategic Project: Lead the end-to-end operational execution of strategic project to expand merchant selection and improve margins, covering commercial setup, purchasing operations, financial processes, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee Enterprise segment &Bank Partnership Strategy: Drive Omni adoption among Enterprise Mex through tailored commercial and product solutions, while scaling bank partnerships.
• Drive Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitors and market trends to identify gaps and provide actionable insights for management strategy.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Min. 3–5 years of relevant experience in the startup or technology industry.
• Solid P&L management and financial modeling experience, with a track record of improving profitability and forecast accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to translating complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with experience developing clear, management-ready decks and recommendations.
• SQL proficiency is required for data analysis and decision-making.
