We’re Hiring a Strategy & Planning Analyst!
We're seeking a Strategy & Planning Analyst to support the Office of Strategy Management (OSM) in executing strategic programs, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across Head Office and Site operations. This role plays a key part in translating strategy into measurable actions, ensuring alignment across functions, and supporting operational excellence within the ESSA Group.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Economics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategy, Planning, Performance Management, or Project Management roles.
- Preferably from Oil & Gas, Ammonia (Petrochemical), or Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) industries.
- Hands-on experience in Strategy Management or Project Management, especially in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Proven experience in developing and monitoring Strategy Map, Balanced Scorecard (BSC), KPI, and Strategic Initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with Enterprise Systems such as SAP, Dynamics AX/D365, IBM Maximo, and Document Management Systems.
- Familiar with Microsoft Project; knowledge of Primavera is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and external parties.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Job Responsibilities
- Execute OSM work programs and strategic projects across PHO, PLP, and BAP.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational and project performance within the ESSA Group.
- Monitor and analyze KPI, BAR, and SIP of functions/departments at Head Office and Plant levels.
- Prepare regular project and performance reports based on inputs from departments/work units.
- Assist in planning, developing, and evaluating business process systems, procedures, and policies within the Company and its Group.
- Support management in executing strategic and transformation projects assigned by the Company.
- Review operational and plant reports prior to submission to management and stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with internal SOPs, company policies, and applicable external regulations and standards.
- Organize regular and ad‑hoc meetings, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoM), and monitor action items.
- Support performance monitoring and improvement of Document Control Center (DCC) and Master Data.
- Identify, report, and take action on unsafe conditions or practices related to occupational health, safety, and environment (SMK3 & SML).
