Job summary

Outsized is seeking an experienced Strategy Consultant for Consumer Goods projects on a 6-month, on-site contract based in Indonesia or Thailand. You will lead workstreams, perform market and competitive analyses, and build client-ready presentations for executive audiences.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in strategy consulting, with capability to own deliverables and manage senior stakeholders, plus strong PowerPoint/Excel and English fluency (and Bahasa Indonesia or Thai as applicable).

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of strategy consulting experience.
• Experience with top firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or Kearney) is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and hypothesis-driven thinking.
• Experience conducting market and competitive analyses.
• Ability to own deliverables independently and manage senior stakeholders.
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesia) / Thai (Thailand).

Responsibilities

• Lead a defined workstream within a growth and profitability strategy engagement.
• Conduct market, competitor, and commercial performance analysis.
• Develop fact-based insights to identify growth opportunities and improvement initiatives.
• Assess market trends, customer dynamics and strategic levers.
• Build business cases and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop client-ready presentations and executive-level recommendations.
• Engage with client stakeholders to gather inputs and validate findings.
• Collaborate with the wider consulting team to meet project objectives on tight timelines.
