Job summary

Outsized in Indonesia seeks an experienced Strategy Consultant to join an EV Strategy project on-site for a 6-month contract. The role is based in Indonesia with allowed travel within APAC as needed.

You will lead a defined workstream, conduct market and competitive analyses, and develop fact-based insights to identify growth opportunities and performance improvements. The consultant will build business cases and deliver client-ready executive recommendations.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of strategy consulting experience.
• Experience with McKinsey, Bain, BCG or Kearney.
• EV experience is a nice-to-have.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hypothesis-driven thinking.
• Experience conducting market and competitive analysis.
• Ability to own deliverables independently and manage senior stakeholders.
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a defined workstream within a broader growth and profitability strategy engagement.
• Conduct market, competitor, and commercial performance analysis.
• Develop fact-based insights to identify growth opportunities and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assess market trends, customer dynamics, and strategic growth levers.
• Build business cases and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop client-ready presentations and executive-level recommendations.
• Engage with client stakeholders to gather inputs, test hypotheses, and validate findings.
• Collaborate closely with the wider consulting team to deliver project objectives within tight timelines.
