Job summary

Chandra Asri Group is seeking a Supply Chain Commercial Analyst (Talent Pool) to support procurement strategy and supplier negotiations in Jakarta. The role emphasizes end-to-end procurement, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration within the Chandra Asri Group.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years in contracting and procurement in oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing, with a background in HSSE compliance and regulatory knowledge. This is a on-site role based in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field; MCIPS preferred but not mandatory.
• 5-10 years of experience in contracting & procurement in oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing.
• Strong ability to build internal and external relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Experience managing end-to-end procurement cycles: sourcing, tender evaluations, contracts, post-award monitoring.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations, contract law, and HSSE compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment to support operations in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic procurement solutions including demand, specs, and pricing.
• Lead tenders, bid evaluations, and supplier negotiations ensuring HSSE and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain market networks to stay informed about supplier developments.
• Design and refine supply chain categories balancing in-house vs outsourced solutions.
• Monitor market conditions and adapt procurement strategies and contract frameworks.
• Manage supplier relationships to drive performance and cost efficiency.
