Bali Jobs Recruitment by Claire Tomkins is seeking a strategic Director of Sales - MICE for a world-renowned 5-star Bali resort. Lead MICE growth, manage high-value corporate accounts, and drive sustainable revenue through visionary pricing, partnerships, and tailored proposals.

You will align with hotel operations, craft targeted campaigns, and oversee end-to-end sales processes, from proposals to post-event delivery, leveraging Opera for forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or equivalent luxury sales experience.
• Proven track record in luxury hospitality sales driving MICE, group business, events and catering revenue.
• Knowledge of Bali market trends, competition, demand fluctuations, and economic drivers.
• Expertise in key account penetration, strategic revenue planning, yield optimization, and sales cost management.
• Proficiency with Opera Sales & Catering for pipeline forecasting and account management.
• Strong network of corporate buyers, event planners, MICE agencies, and global partners.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client-facing skills with history of closing high-value contracts.
• Collaborative leadership with hotel operations for flawless event execution.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute commercial strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Retain and expand existing client accounts by maximizing share-of-wallet and margins.
• Penetrate corporate, MICE, and incentive travel segments with extended stay and banquet opportunities.
• Solicit high-potential new accounts independently and with regional sales teams.
• Nurture key client relationships through structured sales calls, entertainment, and FAM trips.
• Monitor market intelligence to adapt sales tactics to trends.
• Manage sales budgets and controllable expenses to safeguard profitability.
• Attend property networking functions and host prospective clients to strengthen brand presence.
• Oversee end-to-end sales for events: proposals, contracts, and client communications.
• Ensure precise data entry and reporting within Opera.
• Enforce hotel standards across all commercial interactions.
• Leverage corporate channels and intermediaries to optimize bookings.
