Job summary

ACORN STRATEGY is seeking a Strategic Researcher to deliver targeted market, industry, and competitor insights to support business development and client projects. You will contribute to RFPs, prepare benchmarking analyses, and translate data into practical recommendations.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in research or insights, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Power BI. You will join a fast-paced, multicultural team and help shape strategic decisions for diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in research, insights, market intelligence or analytical roles.
• Strong research and analytical abilities to interpret market information.
• Experience preparing competitor analyses, benchmarking, and insight outputs.
• Proficient in Excel; Power BI or similar tools advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted market, industry and competitor research for business development and projects.
• Support bids, proposals and presentations with accurate research.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate findings into insights.
• Prepare benchmarking reports to inform strategy development.
• Provide basic data analysis for client work and internal planning.
• Maintain an organized database of trusted research sources.
• Produce concise research summaries and presentation materials.
• Verify sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage multiple research requests with clear progress updates.
• Collaborate across the strategy team and connect research to business objectives.
