Job summary

PT Samindo Resources Tbk in South Jakarta seeks an experienced Business Planning Assistant Manager to lead financial planning, analysis and performance monitoring. You will oversee annual plans, budgets, forecasts and long-term projections, coordinating with subsidiaries and multiple teams to drive sound decision‑making.

The role requires 8+ years in planning, strong English, and a good grasp of budgeting, reporting and FP&A. Mining industry familiarity is a plus; travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in business planning, corporate planning or related roles.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Experience reviewing plans, budgets, forecasts and performance dashboards.
• Preferably mining/holding company exposure and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual business plan, budget, forecast and long-term projections.
• Review and consolidate plans and projections from subsidiaries.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual financial and operating performance of subsidiaries.
• Evaluate revenue, profitability, cash flow, and KPIs of subsidiaries.
• Identify gaps and risks vs budgets; develop improvement actions.
• Lead variance analysis and explain material deviations from plans.
• Review financial models, scenarios, feasibility studies and investments.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards for the Board and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with finance, tax, operations and subsidiary teams to validate data.
• Monitor progress of improvement initiatives and provide FP&A guidance.
