Job summary

ABB is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business development for induction motors in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a hybrid work model. You will lead strategic initiatives, build OEM and channel partnerships, and prepare proposals and contracts to expand market share and profitability.

You will collaborate with the division to align with the strategic plan and deliver sustainable growth in the IEC LV Motors portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business development or sales in Industrial equipment or induction motor markets
• Strong knowledge of induction motors, applications and industrial systems
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new accounts
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Self motivated, proactive and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive business development aligned with the division's strategy in countries requiring increased attention and focus
• Provide business support including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer support for the assigned product portfolio
• Showcase expertise by ensuring profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan
• Prepare and present technical/commercial proposals, tenders, and contracts; conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis
