Job summary

PT Bevananda Mustika is seeking a Staff Quality Control (QC) professional to oversee quality inspections from raw materials to finished products in the steel wire manufacturing process.

Responsibilities include measurements, testing, defect reporting, and coordination with production to address quality issues, while ensuring compliance with SOP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1/D3 degree, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 1–2 years experience as Staff Quality Control in manufacturing.
• Experience in steel, steel wire, metal processing, or related industries preferred.
• Fresh graduates may be considered based on company needs.

• Perform measurements and testing according to established inspection methods
• Ensure steel wire products meet quality standards, technical specifications, and customer requirements
• Document inspection results and prepare periodic quality reports
• Identify, record, and report products that do not conform to specifications to supervisors
• Coordinate with Production department for follow-up on quality issues
• Assist in root cause analysis and monitor corrective actions
• Ensure inspection processes comply with SOP and workplace safety standards
• Maintain completeness and traceability of quality documents and product data

About you

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as Staff Quality Control in manufacturing companies
• Experience in steel, steel wire, metal processing, or similar industries preferred
• Fresh graduates from engineering disciplines may be considered based on company needs and selection results
• Understanding of Quality Control processes from raw material inspection through finished product
• Ability to perform quality inspections of steel wire products based on specifications and established standards
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and related measuring tools
• Understanding of diameter inspection, dimensional tolerance, surface condition, and product quality characteristics
• Ability to identify product defects and non-conformities against standards
• Ability to record, perform simple analysis, and report quality inspection results
