Job summary

PT Bevananda Mustika seeks an Inspector (Quality Control) to conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, ensuring compliance with standards. The role emphasizes dimensional checks, defect identification, and accurate documentation within a steel wire and metal processing environment.

The candidate should have SMA/SMK or equivalent, engineering degree preferred, and at least 1 year of QC/QA experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Inspector, QC, or QA in manufacturing
• Fresh graduates considered if they have basic understanding of quality inspection and measurement
• Understanding of product quality inspection processes and manufacturing production processes
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as Vernier caliper and micrometer
• Ability to identify defects and non-conformities
• Willing to work in production areas and comply with occupational safety regulations
• Able to work in shift systems if required

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to assignment
• Ensure steel wire product quality complies with company standards and specifications
• Separate and identify products that do not meet standards
• Report non-conformity findings to supervisors or Quality Control department
• Record and document inspection results accurately
• Coordinate with Production department to assist in handling quality issues
• Ensure inspection activities are conducted according to SOP, quality standards, and occupational safety requirements
• Perform dimensional checks, wire diameter measurement, surface condition assessment, and product specification compliance verification
• Identify defective products and non-conforming items
• Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation
