Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a procurement professional to efficiently source non-raw material goods and services, ensuring value, quality, and timely delivery to support operational needs.

Responsibilities include supplier selection, contract management, PO processing, and collaboration with finance, operations, and engineering to meet non-raw material requirements. Strong negotiation, data analysis, and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, especially non-raw materials.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data to inform purchasing decisions.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Excel.
• Understanding of contract law and SCM principles.
• High integrity and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement processes for non-raw materials, including requisition review, vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and order placement.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and manage supplier relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize procurement expenditure.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including vendor master data, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand non-raw material requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and new technologies in procurement to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company ethics, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
