Zusammenfassung

Ajaib Group is seeking a Staff Mobile Engineer (iOS) to set technical direction and raise the excellence bar for the iOS app across Growth, Onboarding and Shared Experience. You will solve cross-team problems, stay hands-on for critical parts of the app, and mentor engineers across the organization.

Bring 8+ years of mobile experience, expert Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, and a bias for scalable architecture and secure KYC flows.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional mobile engineering and iOS architecture leadership.
• Expert in Swift and Apple frameworks with SwiftUI, UIKit, and async/await.
• Strong clean architecture, testing strategy, performance profiling, and launch optimization.
• Experience with Keychain, authentication, API design with backend teams, and data protection.
• CI/CD, TestFlight, phased releases, feature flags, release health at scale.
• Fintech or high-scale regulated consumer product background; strong communication to influence decisions.

Role Overview

As a Staff Mobile Engineer (iOS) in Shared Services, you establish technical standards and raise the excellence bar for the engineering team. You work with the engineering head to set the technical direction for the iOS app across Growth, Onboarding and Shared Experience. You solve cross-team problems such as app architecture, performance, release quality and secure KYC flows, and you raise the level of every iOS engineer around you. You stay hands‑on for the most critical parts of the app.

• Define the iOS architecture and long‑term technical direction for features that span several teams.
• Lead the design of shared components, frameworks and modular app structure that teams can reuse.
• Review critical designs and give architectural guidance for high‑impact mobile initiatives.
• Set standards for app performance, stability, security, accessibility and testing.
• Drive improvements to build speed, CI/CD, release process and crash‑free rate.
• Lead investigations of complex production issues and drive lasting fixes.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, backend leads, Design and Product on cross‑team delivery.
• Mentor Senior Engineers and grow iOS expertise across the organization.
• Stay hands‑on with implementation for critical and complex parts of the app.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 8+ years of professional mobile engineering, with a proven record of leading architecture for large consumer iOS apps.
• Languages & Frameworks: Expert in Swift and Apple frameworks; deep experience with SwiftUI and UIKit, Combine or async/await, and modular architecture (Swift Package Manager).
• Architecture & Quality: Strong in clean architecture, testing strategy, performance profiling (Instruments), app size and launch‑time optimization.
• Security & Integration: Experience with Keychain, authentication, API design with backend teams and protecting sensitive user data.
• Release Engineering: Experience with CI/CD, TestFlight, phased releases, feature flags and managing release health at scale.
• Mindset & Domain: Background in fintech or another high‑scale, regulated consumer product. Strong communication, with the ability to influence technical decisions without direct authority.
