Job summary

Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is seeking an Engineering Assistant Manager to support the Director of Engineering in delivering efficient, cost-effective operations in a luxury hotel environment. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance across the engineering function, while coordinating with other departments to meet guest and owner expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Management.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and special projects is valuable.
• Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years as a team leader/supervisor or assistant engineering manager; strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering to ensure efficient and economical operation of the Engineering Department across all operating departments.
• Manage and supervise engineering activities, ensuring services are supplied as required to the entire operation.

Job Description

**Description:** You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Engineering Assistant Manager is responsible to assist the Director of Engineering in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

**Qualifications:**

• Ideally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
