Job summary

Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is seeking an Engineering Assistant Manager to support the Director of Engineering in maintaining the department to high standards, ensuring efficient operation across all engineering functions.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Management, strong preventive maintenance knowledge, and solid HVAC and fire-safety understanding, with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance programs and special projects.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC, fire mains, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics.

**Description:**
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Engineering Assistant Manager is responsible to assist the Director of Engineering in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Qualifications

• + Ideally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
• + Knowledge in preventive maintenance program and special projects will be valuable.
• + Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics will be an advantage.
• + Minimum 2 years work experience as Team leader/Supervisor, or Assistant Engineering Manager
• + Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
