Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Superintendent to lead C&I and Electrical Power engineering for mining projects in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan. The role requires 10+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s in Electrical/Control Engineering, and proficiency in ETAP and EPLAN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Control Engineering from a reputable university.
• 10+ years of relevant industry/management experience.
• Experience (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) in Electrical Projects; advantageous: 150kV substations (Gardu Induk) and transmission lines; OM/maintenance exposure.
• Middle Implementer Certificate Training & Development supervision, installation of SUTT/SUTET knowledge.
• Strong HSE knowledge and compliance with company standards.
• Light vehicle driving license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Control & Instrumentation and Electrical Power engineering programs, including design development, calculations and technical reviews.
• Lead engineering design, calculations, drawings, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Perform root cause analysis for system/plant failures.
• Coordinate technical developments, scheduling and problem resolution for C&I and electrical design.
• Prepare project progress reports for senior management.

Sr. Electrical Engineer / Suptend (Mining, Tanah Bumbu, Kalsel)

Bachelor Degree (S1) in Electrical / Control Engineering from reputable University.

More than 10 years plus of relevant industry/management experiences, extensiveexperienceandproven skillsinElectricalEngineering industries.

Having experience (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) in Electrical Projects and certification as mentioned below will be an advantageous: a) Gardu Induk & Transmission Lines (JTT) 150kV. b) Operation & Maintenance Gardu Induk & Transmission Lines (JTT) 150kV. c) Middle Implementer Certificate Training & Development Supervision, Installation of SUTT and SUTET. d) Knowledge transfer training & training install jointing cable 150 kV.

Fluent in various electrical software, i.e., ETAP Power Systems, EPlan Electric P8, etc.

Well-developed written and oral communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English, to liaise with BIB personnel, contractors and external suppliers, consultants.

Ability to work with a diverse team of professionals and equipment operators.

Analytical, problem solving skills together with aptitude to solve technical difficulties.

Having a good knowledge of BIB's HSE policies (or equivalent), procedures and standards.

Having Light Vehicle driving license.

Job Description:

Carry out Control & Instrumentation & Electrical Power engineering programs, including development of design, Engineering, calculation and technical review. This includes initiating, supervising and checking the Control & Instrumentation and Electrical Power design, calculations and drawings, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.

Perform root cause analysis for system / plant failure.

Conduct plant troubleshooting and rectification process.

Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of Control and Instrumentation engineering design and test problems.

Calculate the materials required to obtain material take-off and for cost estimation purposes.

Planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing Control and electrical engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.

Perform and coordinate project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, & quality assurance/quality control. This includes planning and control of the Control and Electrical scope & interfacing with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical and electrical).

Prepare and submit report to the superior regarding project progress status on a regular basis.

Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of BIB HSE programs and practices, including Contractor under his supervision.

Check and verify expenditures within limitations of operational &project budget.

Communicate to Contractor working under his area, contribute to assess their performance.

Communicate with Operation & Maintenance as the Custodian (All BIB division).

Find inefficiency root causes; contribute to determine action plan; measure results and develop standard operating procedure.
