Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking an Engineer for Mine Underground - GBC South Block Scheduling to analyze, review, and provide planning engineering support for medium-term scheduling and timeframes across the South Block.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in Underground short term engineering.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to communicate information across various groups and departments.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and direct all medium-term GBC South Block operation and its execution regarding the planning, schedule and timeframe, in order to provide preliminary information and recommendation about project completion and compliance and to ensure the project meet or exceed PTFI Safety standards during construction and operation phases.
• Analyze and develop detailed schedule and timetable for medium-term GBC South Block to provide a comprehensive and reliable timeframe to advance all activities and to ensure the activity meet the goal and timeline.
• Provide all project controls support activity by coordinate and build an effective communication with related parties, in order to ensure all planning requirements are well provided in timely manner so that expansion activities can run smoothly.
• Provide and maintain comprehensive reports and data bases of all expansion engineering activities to provide data and/or recommendation for superior's further decision.
• Identify, review, and analyze anomalies, variance, non-compliance, and complaint in any related engineering and planning, take corrective action and provide proposed action to management to ensure all correction activities will resolve the task/problem occurred.
• Provide constructive feedback and advice to Operations on safety, health and industrial hygiene performance,looking after continuous improvements in quality of master schedule and forecast to meet with GOI and PTFI standard.
• Compliance to department safety programs, safety accountabilities, regular safety inspections, identifying new safety approaches, etc., in order to achieve and ensure that all safety procedures are met.
• Bachelor Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in Underground short term engineering.
• A working knowledge of the English language both oral and written.
