Adaro Mining seeks a senior electrical engineer to lead and execute electrical design across Conceptual, Basic/FEED, and Detailed Engineering Design, covering SLDs, power distribution, substations, lighting, earthing, and control systems. You will drive technical quality and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on BIM reviews.
You will perform critical calculations (load flow, short circuit, cable sizing, voltage drop), develop specs, vendor criteria, and cost estimates, while mentoring
Lead and execute electrical engineering design across all project phases—from Conceptual, Basic/FEED, to Detailed Engineering Design (DED)—including SLD, power distribution, substations, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and control systems
Perform and review critical electrical calculations including load flow, short circuit, cable sizing, voltage drop, lighting, and relay coordination using ETAP, DIALux, AutoCAD, and applicable engineering standards
Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and BIM/3D reviews with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing disciplines, including clash resolution and value engineering to optimize design, safety, quality, and cost
Develop and review engineering and tender deliverables, including design basis, technical specifications, equipment/material datasheets, vendor criteria, material requisitions, SoW, BoQ, cost estimates, and construction schedules
Evaluate contractors and vendors through technical proposal reviews, Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), contractor selection support, and technical review of Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Equipment Datasheets, Method Statements, RFIs, design clarifications, and change/material substitution proposals
Lead technical quality assurance and team development by ensuring compliance with approved DED, project specifications, and statutory standards, while guiding junior electrical engineers and designers throughout design, tender, and construction review stages
Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10 years experience in the related electrical construction field
Knowledge of high-current electrical system design, transmission system design and associated equipment, multidisciplinary interfacing, and construction management
Certified SKK Madya in Electrical and K3 Listrik
Certified Insinyur Profesional is an advantage
Good communication and leadership skills
Willing to be based in Kalimantan with roster system
