Job summary

Bali International Hospital is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our rehabilitation and allied health services in Bali. This full-time role focuses on specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders within a modern healthcare setting.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized treatment plans, contribute to discharge planning, and engage in quality improvement while advancing your professional development.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in speech therapist.
• Current professional registration or licensure as required by relevant healthcare regulatory bodies.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; multilingual abilities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for patients of all ages.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions.
• Manage patients with voice disorders, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, language disorders, and dysphagia.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed clinical records in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient and family education regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety.
• Participate in discharge planning and recommend ongoing community-based support as needed.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional standards of practice.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

About the role

We are seeking a Speech Therapist to join Bali International Hospital on a fulltime basis. This is a strategic role within our rehabilitation and allied health services department, based in Bali. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital part in our healthcare team, providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for patients of all ages
• Develop individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions
• Manage patients with voice disorders, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, language disorders, and dysphagia
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure integrated patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed clinical records in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
• Provide patient and family education regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety
• Participate in discharge planning and recommend ongoing community-based support as needed
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional standards of practice
• Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for
