Job summary

Permata Bank is seeking a Data Governance professional in Tangerang Selatan to establish data policy frameworks, ensure data quality and security, and align data practices with regulatory requirements. This role supports enterprise-wide data governance across multiple business units.

Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders, you will manage data ownership, policy enforcement, and risk mitigation while supporting AI/Gen AI initiatives within Retail, SME, and Wholesale Banking teams.

Qualifications

• Establish and enforce data policy frameworks and standards across the organization.
• Understand the relationship between business processes, architecture, control, risk, compliance, and data tech.
• Familiar with modern enterprise data platforms and governance tools.
• Experience in banking/financial services is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce data policy frameworks and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that each business unit has access to valid and trusted data, establishing clear data ownership, and mitigating legal risks through compliance with applicable data protection regulations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information System, Computer Science, or related field
• 3 years of experience in Data Governance, IT Governance, Compliance, or Risk Management, with specific experience in AI/ML/Gen AI projects.
• Strong understanding of relationship between business process, architecture, control, risk , compliance and data technology.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with various business stakeholders
• Familiar with modern enterprise data platforms and governance tools.
• Experience in banking/financial services is highly preferred.
