Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a results-driven Simulation Account Executive to drive sales growth of simulation, HPC, and data analytics across Indonesia. You will build strategic relationships with engineering leaders and business decision makers to expand customer footprint and accelerate innovation through engineering simulation, digital twin, AI, and HPC.

Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software

The Simulation Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion of simulation, high-performance computing, and Data analytics across Indonesia. The SAE will develop strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and help organizations accelerate innovation through engineering simulation, digital twin, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions.

This role requires a highly motivated sales professional with a strong hunting approach, excellent customer engagement skills, and the ability to communicate business value to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Execution

• Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and consumption targets.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target industries.
• Build and execute territory and account plans to drive sustainable growth.
• Handle the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
• Lead commercial negotiations and procurement engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, R&D teams, manufacturing executives, CIOs, CTOs, and business decision makers.
• Understand customer business challenges and position simulation solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive executive-level discussions about digital transformation, product innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

Solution Selling

• Work closely with pre-sales consultant, technical specialists, solution architects, and partner teams to develop compelling customer proposals.
• Position simulation technologies including: Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid, Dynamics (CFD), Multiphysics Simulation, Digital Twins, High Performance Computing (HPC), AI for Engineering and Design

Partner & Ecosystem Engagement

• Collaborate with system integrators, ISVs, channel partners, and industry associations.
• Support joint go-to-market activities and customer events.
• Leverage partner ecosystems to accelerate customer acquisition and solution adoption.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of enterprise technology or software sales experience.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Experience handling complex solution sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Preferred

Experience selling one or more of the following:

• Engineering Simulation Software, CAE Solutions, CAD/PLM Platforms, Digital Twin, Technologies, Industrial Software, Cloud and HPC Solutions, AI and Data Platforms
• Familiarity with manufacturing, education, transportation, aerospace, or engineering industries.
• Knowledge of engineering design and simulation workflows.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience selling solutions into the following industries will be highly regarded: Manufacturing, Automotive, Electronics, Energy and Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining and Metals, Aerospace and Defence, Marine and Shipbuilding, Higher Education and Research Institutions
