Job summary

PT Stretchline (Indonesia) is seeking a purchasing leader to ensure timely, quality, and cost-competitive supplies for textile production. The role focuses on developing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing ERP-driven processes (SAP/EPICOR), and leading a purchasing team while collaborating with Finance, Warehouse, Production, and Sales to optimize cost efficiency and supply continuity.

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum 5 years in Purchasing/Procurement with at least 3 years in a supervisor/manager role
• Experience in Textile, Yarn, Chemicals, Dye and manufacturing industries
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• English fluency; Mandarin preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's overall purchasing and procurement processes
• Develop purchasing strategies based on company needs and budget
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors
• Ensure the availability of goods/materials with quality, pricing, and delivery schedules
• Provide monthly reports & analysis of RM usage
• Familiar with ERP Systems (SAP, EPICOR), Power BI
• Oversee PR, PO, and goods receiving processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost efficiency
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Production, Sales, and other departments
• Coordinate with QA to ensure yarn and dye Quality align with OEKO-TEX & Bluesign
• Lead, manage, and develop the purchasing team

Job description

The primary objective of this position is to ensure that the company's goods/material requirements are available on time, with the required quality, and at competitive costs, while maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company's overall purchasing and procurement processes
• Develop purchasing strategies based on company needs and budget
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors
• Ensure the availability of goods/materials with the required quality, competitive pricing, and appropriate delivery schedules
• Provide Monthly reports & analysis of RM usage
• Familiar with ERP Systems (SAP, EPICOR), Power BI systems
• Oversee the Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO), and goods receiving processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost efficiency
• Coordinate with the Finance, Warehouse, Production, Sales, and other relevant departments
• Coordinate with QA team to ensure yarn and dye Quality align with OEKO-TEX & Bluesign certificate
• Lead, manage, and develop the purchasing team

About you

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, with at least 3 years in a Supervisor/Manager position
• Experienced in the Textile, Yarn, Chemicals, Dye and manufacturing industries
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Mandarin both spoken and written is preferred;
• Good understanding of vendor management, procurement processes, inventory, and supply chain
• Strong ability to analyze pricing and costs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, decisive, responsible, and target-driven
• Able to communicate effectively and fluently in English
