Job summary

JALA is seeking a Software Tester Intern to execute test scenarios, cases, and scripts across Web, Android, iOS, and Desktop. You will create detailed bug reports, re-test fixes, and collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high product quality.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proactive testing of edge cases, and strong communication to support the Aquaculture industry. Hybrid work with health insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• A full-time internship for at least 3 months is available.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain issues clearly.
• Attention to detail, curiosity, and proactive identification of edge cases.
• Interest in contributing to Aquaculture industry and product quality.
• Basic familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello) or API testing tools (Postman).

JALA is looking for a Software Tester Intern who will be responsible for executing test scenarios, cases, and scripts to evaluate software performance across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS, Desktop), creating detailed bug reports, re-testing fixes to prevent regressions, and collaborating with developers and product managers to maintain product quality.

• Execute test documents, including test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to evaluate software performance.
• Perform functional and usability testing across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS, and Desktop).
• Generate detailed written reports outlining findings, reproduction steps, and technical context to help developers diagnose issues efficiently.
• Re-test and verify fixes for previously identified bugs, ensuring overall system stability and regression-free updates.
• Work alongside developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and advocate for end-user product quality.

Skills & Capabilities

• Available for a full-time internship for a minimum duration of 3 months.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying potential system edge cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly across cross-functional teams.
