Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a research-oriented professional to analyze data and conduct studies related to macro economy, shipping, port, and logistics. The role supports the integration of management systems and risk documentation within the department.

The candidate will prepare clear research reports, present findings, and contribute to the company’s insights across industrial data sources. Jakarta-based position with potential cross-location collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics/Management/Industrial Engineering.
• Familiar or experienced with research in macro economy, shipping, port, or logistics.
• Well understanding about qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
• Familiar with economic and industrial data sources such as Bloomberg, CEIC, BPS, or other relevant sources.
• Will ing to be located in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the collected data using statistical methods, qualitative analysis techniques, or data analysis tools to gain relevant insights.
• Conduct good quality research based on industrial, commercial, health, environmental, and other important aspects.
• Prepare research reports containing findings and conclusions also present clear and systematic research results.
• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
