Job summary

Alfred H Knight, through its Indonesia entity PT AHK Testing Indonesia, is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead the site laboratory in Balikpapan. You will oversee day-to-day testing, ensure safety, accuracy, and timely turnaround, and optimize workloads while guiding a team of laboratory personnel.

The role requires strong knowledge of analytical techniques, QC/QA, and ISO/IEC 17025, plus fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of laboratory analytical techniques, QA/QC principles.
• Proficient with XRF, ICP-OES/ICP-MS, AAS, Carbon & Sulfur Analyzer, and wet chemistry.
• Solid understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and quality management systems.
• Strong data interpretation, investigation of abnormal results, and corrective actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Minimum 5 years in an analytical lab; supervisory/leadership experience.
• Ability to balance resources, budgeting, and cross-department collaboration under pressure.
