Job summary

Graha Group in Bali seeks an experienced bar staff/bartender to warmly welcome guests, mix a wide range of beverages, and maintain bar cleanliness and inventory. The role emphasizes quick service, team collaboration, and upselling of signature drinks and promotions for hotels and leisure venues in Seminyak and beyond.

The position requires basic English, ability to work weekends/public holidays, and familiarity with POS/VHP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) in Hospitality, Culinary, or F&B Service; at least 1 year of experience as a bar staff/bartender in a hotel, lounge, or international bar.
• Basic English communication skills, particularly for explaining menus and interacting with guests; fit and able to work weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in basic bartending techniques: shaking, stirring, blending, layering, muddling, and garnishing; knowledgeable in spirits, wine, beer, coffee, mocktails, and classic & modern cocktails.
• Able to input orders and process transactions using hotel systems (POS/VHP); maintain cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and glassware while adhering to HACCP standards.
• Understands basic stock management, including inventory checks, FIFO rotation, and recording beverage usage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the bar in a friendly, warm, and professional manner, demonstrating a positive service attitude even during busy periods.
• Respond quickly and deliver beverages promptly, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion according to standards.
• Work effectively with team members (servers and greeters) to maintain smooth guest service.
• Possess comprehensive beverage knowledge (cocktails, mocktails, coffee, wine, spirits, juices, and food pairings) to support upselling and cross-selling of signature drinks, premium brands, and promotional packages.
• Contribute to bar sales targets by recommending creative beverages and seasonal specials to enhance guest experience and revenue.
