Job summary

PT Qinfa Mining Industri is seeking a Data Analyst to manage shipment and logistics data. You will collect, process, validate, and analyze data related to shipment activities, and prepare reports to monitor performance for operational efficiency.

You will build dashboards and data-driven insights, reconciling data from multiple sources and collaborating with various departments to drive improvements in shipment processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• Proven 1–2 years in Data Analyst, Data Controller, Shipment Controller, or related role.
• Proficiency in processing, analyzing, and presenting data using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, validate, and analyze data related to shipment activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly shipment reports.
• Calculate and monitor Effective Shipment Time for each shipment activity.
• Perform Laytime Calculations aligned with field data.
• Monitor shipment progress, loading/unloading, waiting, idle times.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, deviations, and inefficiencies in shipments.
• Create dashboards and presentations for management review.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across sources.
• Data reconciliation between shipment data, operational reports, and other departments.

This is a Data Analyst position focused on shipment and logistics data management. You will collect, process, validate, and analyze data related to shipment activities, prepare reports, and monitor shipment performance to support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process, validate, and analyze data related to shipment activities
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly shipment reports according to company requirements
• Calculate and monitor Effective Shipment Time for each shipment activity
• Perform Laytime Calculations and ensure that the calculations are consistent with actual field data
• Monitor shipment progress, loading/unloading activities, waiting time, idle time, and other related activities
• Analyze shipment data to identify delays, bottlenecks, deviations, and potential inefficiencies in the shipment process
• Create dashboards, summary reports, and presentations for monitoring and management review purposes
• Process data from various sources and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency before it is used in reports
• Perform data reconciliation between shipment data, operational reports, and data from relevant departments
• Prepare data-driven analyses and provide insights to support shipment performance monitoring and evaluation

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) / Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 1–2 years of work experience as a Data Analyst, Data Controller, Shipment Controller, or in a related position
• Proficient in processing, analyzing, and presenting data using Microsoft Excel
• Able to process data from Microsoft Excel into reports/presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Proficient in Excel formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, and other data processing functions
• Able to use AI tools to support work, such as data analysis, report generation, data processing, and improving work efficiency
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data
• Able to work with targets and deadlines and coordinate with various departments
