Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager at the Karawang Factory to drive line objectives by empowering the shift team and ensuring the production plan is met safely, efficiently and in compliance with NGMP and quality standards.

You will lead safety culture, manage staffing, coordinate with maintenance and production, and engage with unions and stakeholders to deliver sustainable results in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering
• 3-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance,
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment Ability to set effective and challenging objectives

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line).
