Job summary

Autoliv Inc. is seeking a Serial Life Project Engineer to coordinate and manage serial production projects, engineering changes, and customer requirements. You will ensure quality, cost, delivery, and satisfaction while leading cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 3–5 years in project management or industrial engineering, and strong knowledge of automotive core tools. You will oversee sample preparation and AS403 approvals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in Automotive Industry
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Project Management or Industrial Engineering
• Strong understanding about Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
• Experience managing cross-functional projects in tight time manner

Responsibilities

• Manage serial production projects and changes from initiation to closure; be primary contact for internal stakeholders and customers regarding serial projects.
• Support customer requests related to Serial Life Project.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project activities according to agreed timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risks, and action trackers.
• Ensure all product, process, and documentation changes are properly reviewed, approved, and implemented.
• Coordinate the preparation of product samples for customer requests, validation activities, and internal testing; monitor sample build schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare documents for Project reports and AS403 approval

Key Responsibilities

• Manage serial production projects and changes from initiation through implementation and closure, including act as the primary project contact for internal stakeholders and customers regarding serial projects.
• Support customer requests related to Serial Life Project
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project activities according to agreed timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risks, and action trackers.
• Ensure all product, process, and documentation changes are properly reviewed, approved, and implemented.
