Job summary

Alcon, the global leader in eye care, seeks a Senior Validation Engineer for the Batam Plant. You will lead validation activities for processes, equipment, computerized systems, utilities, facilities and cleaning procedures to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, 5–10 years in manufacturing/quality/tech development in medical devices or pharma, 5+ years of validation experience, fluent English and local language, and strong

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing/quality/tech development in medical devices or pharma.
• At least 5 years’ experience executing validation activities in complex projects.
• Fluent in English and local language; strong technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support site validation/qualification activities.
• Support validation efforts for tech transfer projects.
• Prepare, review and remediate validation protocols.
• Train validation protocols and site validation SOPs.
• Support validation activities for large capital procurement projects.
