Job summary

Monee in Indonesia seeks an experienced Lead Underwriter to price group and individual insurance, review applications, and design efficient underwriting workflows.

You will apply medical and financial underwriting expertise, lead a team, and ensure decisions adhere to underwriting guidelines. A medical background and AAIJ certification are preferred.

• Evaluate and price quotation requests for Group Insurance, ensuring risks are assessed accurately and terms are competitive and aligned with company underwriting guidelines.
• Review and assess individual insurance applications, making sound acceptance, rating, or declination decisions based on risk exposure.
• Design, develop, and continuously enhance underwriting processes and procedures to improve efficiency, consistency, and turnaround time.
• Extensive working experience in the insurance industry, with in-depth knowledge of underwriting principles and market practices.
• Proven ability to perform both medical and financial underwriting for Individual and Group Insurance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience at managerial level within an underwriting function.
• Candidates with a medical background and AAIJ certification are preferred
