Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA/CA qualification is advantageous.
• 8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong IFRS and PSAK knowledge with closing and reporting experience.
• Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, intercompany, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in financial services/fintech is a plus; regulator interactions preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP and office suites; ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily accounting and finance operations across entities.

• Review GL transactions including accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, and financing.

• Provide accounting guidance to stakeholders on new products and transactions.
• Act as point of contact for internal and external auditors on audits.
• Coordinate regulators on reporting and examinations; ensure compliance with regs.

Job Description

• Lead and oversee daily accounting and finance operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage and provide guidance to the accounting team, including Senior Associates and their respective team members, to ensure effective workload distribution, timely deliverables, and continuous team development.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial schedules, and management reports.
• Review and ensure accuracy of general ledger transactions, including accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, loan financing, and other accounting activities.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and settlement processes to ensure operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and effective internal controls.
• Liaise closely with HQ Finance teams and business leaders on financial reporting, accounting treatments, business initiatives, and operational matters.
• Provide accounting guidance and support to business stakeholders, including assessing the financial and accounting implications of new products, transactions, and business arrangements.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating audit requirements, addressing findings, and ensuring timely resolution of audit-related matters.
• Coordinate with regulators and relevant internal stakeholders on regulatory reporting, inquiries, and examinations, ensuring compliance with applicable financial services regulations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/PSAK), company policies, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining effective financial controls and governance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements and automation initiatives in collaboration with HQ and relevant stakeholders.
• Support management in financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, and other strategic or operational initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA) will be an advantage.
• 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations, preferably with prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), with experience in financial closing, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, lending, or multifinance industries will be an advantage.
• Experience in handling external audits, regulatory reporting, and engagement with financial services regulators (e.g., OJK) will be highly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems or ERP platforms (Oracle will be an advantage), as well as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to guide, develop, and coordinate teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgement on accounting and operational matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HQ teams, business leaders, auditors, regulators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
