Job summary

CIMB Niaga is seeking a QA/Test Engineer in Indonesia to lead testing across SDLC activities, including SIT/UAT and regression testing. You will create test cases, test plans, and monitor execution, while managing defects and producing clear testing reports.

The role requires strong API testing with Postman/SoapUI, SQL proficiency, and hands-on automation with UFT, Katalon, or Playwright. Collaboration with stakeholders and project teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with SDLC testing processes.
• Proven in SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Ability to create test cases and test plans; monitor execution and defects.
• Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman/SoapUI; SQL knowledge.
• Familiar with QA and project management tools (Jira/ClickUp/Confluence).
• Hands-on with automation testing tools (UFT/Katalon/Playwright).
• Experience preparing testing reports and tracking progress.
• 3+ years of banking/digital channels experience.

Job description

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly testing processes.
• Proven experience in conducting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Ability to create test cases, develop test plans, monitor test execution, and manage defects effectively.
• Proficient in API testing, Postman, SoapUI, SQL, webMethods Integration Server, and Bitbucket.
• Familiar with QA and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as UFT, Katalon, and Playwright.
• Skilled in preparing testing reports and tracking testing progress.
